New, More Powerful Eurovac II Vacuum Now Available from GranQuartz
GranQuartz Stone & Concrete Systems is pleased to announce the introduction of the Eurovac II Portable Vacuum designed specifically for concrete grinding applications.
The Eurovac II is the optimal solution when you require power, portability, ease of use and value. The unit contains a powerful 120 volt, 3000 watt, 3.9 HP pump, more than ideal for concrete grinding applications. Unlike the average vacuum on the market, the Eurovac II produces over 100” of water column (250 CFM). The power stems from the utilization of three on-board motors controlled by two switches. The first switch turns on the initial two motors while activating the secondary switch starts the third motor. This proprietary system is used to reduce the start-up current that would be required if all three motors started at the same time.
The strength of the system does not stop with it’s powerful motor. The Eurovac II incorporates a cyclonic entry system, with a cartridge filter containing 198 square feet of filter media, to produce best-in-class filtration. The unit can be fitted with a HEPA filter to filter down to a minimum .3 micron particle. Further, the unit is industrial grade, incorporating a galvanized steel canister and rugged transport chassis, giving you years of solid, reliable performance.

New Surface Pro® Erasor Removes Hard-Troweled Concrete Finishes
GranQuartz Stone & Concrete Systems is pleased to announce the introduction of a new diamond disc formulation specifically suited to remove hard-troweled burned concrete finishes. The new Surface Pro® Erasor is the latest revolution in the Surface Pro® diamond family.
“Grinding hard-troweled burned concrete finishes has been virtually impossible until now,” says Eric Witcher, Product Manager for GranQuartz. “The Erasor has a proprietary formulation that aggressively grinds these extremely hard finishes. Our diamonds do not glaze up or deteriorate rapidly, which are common results with standard diamond pads. Also, the diamonds are fairly forgiving; even inexperienced operators can grind and polish quickly without leaving gouges.”
The Surface Pro Erasor is available in three sizes: standard 3” for floor grinding machines, 5” for hand grinders for touch-up work and 7” for edge grinding machines.

Expands Sales Staff
Ty Consolino has been appointed Midwest Sales Manager for GranQuartz Stone & Concrete Systems. In his position, Consolino is responsible for building partnerships with concrete and stone restoration, maintenance and fabrication accounts throughout the region. Ty will be taking over the territory for Jeff Dykstra, who is moving to Las Vegas to serve in the role of Western Sales Manager.
Consolino brings 16 years of experience in the maintenance industry having served as National Sales Manager for CleansystemsUS, an importer/distributor of microfiber products, and as Maintenance Manager for Equinox. He holds a degree from University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
Dykstra brings a wealth of experience to the Western market having already worked for GranQuartz for the past 5 years.
